Providing essential services throughout many different industries.  About the roleReporting to the Manager – Health & Safety, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation and continual improvement of ATCO’s health and safety and environment management system and documentation. Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of ATCO Australia’s health safety and environmental management system framework.Streamline health, safety, and environmental documentation to ensure it is fit for purpose and relevant to end users.Lead and undertake consultation activities with relevant stakeholders throughout the development of documents and processes.Provide specialised knowledge to support the continual improvement of WHSE management systems and processes using a risk-based methodology.Identify opportunities for the improvement and simplification of the health, safety, and environmental management system documentation.Ensure the development of a robust identification & assurance framework for the management of critical risks and critical controls across ATCO Australia.Work with the risk and compliance team to facilitate internal and independent health, safety, and environment management system audits.Collaborative approach as a member of the health, safety, and environment team, to ensure the widespread ownership and adoption of the health, safety, and environmental management system.  What we are looking forA tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, risk management or other relevant field of study.Proven experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of health safety and environmental management systems and documents.Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including experience writing documents for all levels of an organisation.Demonstrated ability to undertake effective workplace consultation and integrate feedback from stakeholders.Sophisticated digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to utilise a range of information systems. What we offerYour Impact: Play a crucial role in initiatives that will shape the future of our organisation.
