Trainer and Assessor

ATCO's Australian operations are headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and specialize in creating innovative, customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australia's largest gas distribution network with more than 750,000 connection points and 14,000km of pipelines.ATCO is looking for a Trainer & Assessor to be responsible for delivering technical training and undertaking field based assessments to verify competency levels of ATCO Gas Australia field based employees and relevant contractor staff related to the construction and maintenance of the gas distribution network to support regulatory compliance and safe and effective operations.What you will contribute to:Develop and assist in the development training and assessment tools as required for relevant coursesDelivers technical training aimed at building identified competencies of ATCO Gas Australia field based employees and relevant contractor staff related to the construction and maintenance of the gas distribution network to support regulatory compliance and safe and effective operations.Responsible for pre-course preparation and setup of materials, tools and equipment for field based technical training.Undertakes field based assessments to verify competency levels of field based employees and relevant contractor staff in line with the Australian Qualifications Framework, relevant procedures and safe work instructions.Liaises with Supervisors across business operations to ensure timely and accurate assessments of employees identified through the training schedule are completed in line with compliance requirements.Ensures workplace practices and expertise is implemented into technical training and assessment materials through the appropriate review processes.Participate in validation meetings, to ensure training and assessment material is compliant with RTO standards and training packagesAbout you:Certificate III in Gas Industry Operations and/or Class G License or related utilitiesConsiderable technical knowledge and experience in gas distribution field operations or other relevant utilities industry.Good PC skills including the ability to utilize a range of information systems (MS Office).Strong problem solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).Good time management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver multiple priorities to meet deadlines.Current C Class Drivers License.ATCO fosters an inclusive workplace culture where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
