The role is responsible for developing project design and scope of works documentation to a high standard and in line with design codes, standards, and legislation.What you will doProvide process engineering expertise in relation to new renewable energy, hydrogen, and clean fuels business opportunities, including analysis, troubleshooting, identifying/mitigating risks, optimising operating efficiency and supporting process designs.Use strategic research & networking to assist with projects and build high-quality proposals.Conduct feasibility and concept studies of greenfield plants and modifications/retrofits of existing facilities for renewable energy, hydrogen and clean fuel production, re-fuelling, transportation, and industrial process use.Responsible for developing hydrogen project design documentation, technical specifications, and scope of work documents.Execute all activities within the budget and schedule whilst maintaining technical integrity.Ensure all technical documents are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant design codes, standards, and legislation.To deliver safe and competitive solutions, ensure process engineering risks are understood, controlled, and reduced.Liaise with and manage third-party Engineering consultants as required.What you will bring:Essential:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering fieldExperience in process and/or energy infrastructure engineering and design, with at least some relating specifically to Renewable Energy, Hydrogen and Clean Energy.Well-developed knowledge of process and/or infrastructure engineering principles and practices coupled with an understanding of project execution.Working knowledge of alternative, advanced principles and techniques of process engineering and competing and alternative design techniques.Strong problem-solving skills, offering practical thinking and creative approaches when applicable and providing sound analysis and risk management judgement when making recommendations.Demonstrable experience with delivering quality process deliverables according to project schedule and budget.Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to identify opportunities and promptly develop feasible solutions.Ability to manage multiple and competing projects, priorities, and deadlines.Why ATCO Australia?At ATCO, we challenge the status quo and aspire to impact the world positively.
