Project Support Officer

Backed by a strong 75-year history in the delivery of power solutions, our capabilities include designing, building, owning and operating the full range of power generation facilities including renewables, hydrogen and pumped hydro. We have been investing in alternative and renewable energy solutions for 30 years and continue to respond to disruption in the energy sector by investing in our people, our communities and in innovative technologies.  The Project Support Officer assists Projects with the development, implementation and execution of Capex and recoverable projects, including reviewing project documentation, providing solutions and contributing to issue resolution and escalation, analysis activities, financial forecasting, cost control and the planning and monitoring of workloads delivered by sub-contractor and internal resources. What you will contribute to: Provide support to the Projects in the Monitoring, tracking on the status of  project deliverables to ensure construction project schedules, quality assurance and safety deliverables are in line with approved project plans for assigned projects. Support, Identify and escalate any possible variance from project plans Assisting in organising and controlling project delivery scope of works to ensure all required project objectives are being met. Resolve and provide support the Project delivery team on solutions to project related issues. Delivers timely and accurate project management reports Participate and contribute to reviews of future process improvements of Recoverable project portfolio delivery. Assist with client presentations, update status reports, risk management. Plan and coordinate internal and external stakeholders (Residents and Local Government Authorities) About you: Highly developed organisational skills Ability to work autonomously as well as within the team Experience in working in a project environment Good communication skills to interact with varied parties, such as construction teams, office-based teams (eg Engineering, Finance, Planning) and external stakeholders (eg local governments, customers) Intermediate Microsoft office Highly motivated Sound administrative skills including attention to detail, written and oral communication. Conscientious person willing to take initiative and ownership of areas of responsibility to meet project requirements.
