As a preferred partner working with the Government of South Australia, we anticipate that the project will be operational by early 2026. Come and join the energy. Our Opportunity With experience in projects in advance planning or commencing construction, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Project Engineer.The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in providing engineering expertise and technical support for the power station and power generation projects for the Projects Delivery function. This role involves planning, designing, and overseeing engineering activities to ensure project goals are met safely, efficiently, and within budget. The role will require regular travel to regional South Australia.What the Role can Offer You Competitive remuneration including bonus structure.A supportive and flexible environment that values your well-being and personal growth.An opportunity to enhance your civil, power, and or large-scale infrastructure background and pivot into New Energy Solutions.Contributing to the design and delivery of a large-scale power generation facility in regional South Australia.Access ongoing training, mentorship, and individual development opportunities.What Does Success Look Like Providing detailed engineering designs and solutions that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.Coordinating with various contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities.Ensuring all engineering activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.Preparing and maintaining comprehensive engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical specifications.Assisting in the allocation and management of resources, including materials and equipment, to support engineering tasks.Identifying engineering challenges and developing innovative solutions to address them promptly.Exposure & ExperienceBachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.5+ years of experience in engineering roles related to large-scale industrial or renewable energy projects.Strong technical knowledge in engineering principles, design software, and project management tools.Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertinent to engineering in renewable energy projects.Experience in Client-side project delivery.Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering activities in large-scale projects.At ATCO Australia, we are committed to a nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment that values the contributions and perspectives of everyone on the ATCO Australia team.
