Australia is the focal point of ATCO’s global commitment to Renewable and Sustainable Energy, and with both Hydrogen and Pumped Hydro projects in planning or underway, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding business with an exciting and sustainable future.Our OpportunityWith projects in advance planning or commencing construction, we are seeking an experience Procurement Specialist to play a leading role as we move to the next stage.Based in our Sydney Office, this is a highly autonomous end-to-end role. Reporting directly to the GM Corporate Services with direct access to project personnel, you will be empowered to take procurement within our Renewable Energy team to the next level and play a critical role in advancing our projects. Whilst you will be the procurement lead for some of these projects, you will be supported by our larger supply chain team across Australia.About the role: Key responsibilities include: The full spectrum of procurement packages including land access, construction services and equipment, specialised renewable technologies and supporting services.Champion procurement with strategic sourcing, tender processes, and contract execution.Develop market intelligence, create a preferred supplier network, and monitor supply chain vulnerabilities.Cultivate relationships and Proactively engage with suppliers for performance assessment and improvement opportunitiesLead contract management, conduct reviews, monitor supplier performance, and control spending.What we are looking for:Experience in procurement from sectors such as Civil Construction, Infrastructure, Heavy Industry or Energy.Experience and awareness of supply chain dynamics, market trends, regulatory requirements, and supply chain riskProven experience and sound knowledge and understanding of procurement, best practices, and methodologies.Capability and experience in managing end-to-end procurement process.
