Join us on this journey and shape the future of our Technology landscape. Position: Developer (Snowflake)  Location: CBD, Perth Employment Type: Full-time/permanent   About the role   Develop data models, schemas, and pipelines on Snowflake to fulfill business requirements and analytics needs. Tune Snowflake databases and queries to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions, including ETL processes from various sources into Snowflake. Develop and optimize SQL queries within the Snowflake environment for efficient data retrieval and manipulation. Maintain documentation of data models and processes, continually reviewing and enhancing data models for improved performance and efficiency. Design, develop, and implement interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using PowerBI. Develop, test, deploy and automate ETL/ELT solutions using Azure, SQL, REST API connectors and Azure Data Factory (ADF) What we are looking for   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience as a Snowflake Developer or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in Snowflake architecture and features. Demonstrated experience developing CI/CD pipelines and change management. Understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and SQL languages is essential for developing and optimizing data solutions within Snowflake. Proficiency in data modelling concepts and techniques, with the ability to design efficient data models tailored to business requirements. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes, preferably leveraging Snowflake's native features or tools like Azure Data Factory, for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
