The primary objective is to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of ATCO Power's assets throughout their lifecycle.What Does Success Look LikeDevelop and implement strategies to optimise cost, risk and performance , ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of power generation assets.Utilize data analysis to monitor asset performance focusing on improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.Design life-cycle cost models to guide strategic asset management decisions, ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the asset’s lifespan.Lead the development and oversight of operations process safety programs, as well as safety in design and management of change evaluations.Be a regular in visiting sites, lead meetings, participate in training, develop reports, and manage budgets to ensure effective asset management.Identify, evaluate and mitigate risk related to management and process safety, ensuring safe and compliant operations.Exposure & ExperienceEssentialBachelor's degree in engineering.Certified Asset Management AssessorStrong technical knowledge in asset management principles, process safety tools and techniques, and project management.Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertinent to engineering in renewable energy projects.Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering activities in large-scale projects.Preferred5+ years of experience in asset management related engineering rolesElectrical EngineerPower Generation experienceWhat We OfferGrowth Opportunities: We're committed to your professional development and offer avenues for career advancement.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a flexible work environment that promotes work-life harmony.Access to additional purchased leaveNovated Lease and Car BenefitsEmployee Share Purchase PlanAt ATCO Australia, we are committed to a nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment that values the contributions and perspectives of everyone on the ATCO Australia team.
