Asset Management Data Analyst

ATCO's Australian operations are headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative, customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australia's largest gas distribution network with more than 750,000 connection points and 14,000km of pipelines. ATCO also operates two progressive power generation stations - in Adelaide and the Pilbara. These facilities collectively generate 266 megawatts of power, providing energy for thousands of public sector, domestic, industrial and commercial consumers across the country.ATCO is looking for an Asset Data Analyst to liaise closely with Asset Services, Engineering Services, and Operations to ensure all asset data and transactional requirements are fulfilled in accordance to the necessary data integrity standards.What you will contribute to:Facilitate accurate and timely creation of Asset data, monitoring and maintaining  in compliance with Asset Information Standards, administrative duties associated with Asset Services team and cross training with other Data analyst for support to ensure continuity of service.Facilitate monitoring and correction of operational data in compliance with Asset Information Standards, administrative duties associated with Asset Services team and cross training with other Data Analyst for support to ensure continuity of service.Provide specialist on-site support to SAP end users with respect to master data configuration, and use.Develop and maintain business processes related to creation, modification and archiving of SAP AssetValidate requests for adherence to Asset Information Standards and assure that duplication or omission is not occurring.To be included but not limited to – running of certain queries related to master data maintenance to ascertain if the data is complete or corrective actions need to be taken.  Communicate with data business owner if corrective actions need to be taken upon advice of manager.About you:University degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.Extensive SAP experience preferred, a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with master data and SAP operational data required.Experience in asset lifecycle planning, pipeline systems and operations (gas pipeline and distribution systems is desirable).Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) including the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.Excellent computer skills including the ability to utilise a range of information systems (MS Office, GIS, SAP and EIM).Individual contributor with ability to work both independently and as part of a team with good time management to effectively manage multiple priorities.Capability to analyse issues/work methods within work areas with perspectives of good industry practice standardsAbility to understand the business practices and how the interact as a whole with strategic views of continual improvementATCO fosters an inclusive workplace culture where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
