This role provides an excellent work-life balance and personal development opportunities.Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, you will be working in our dedicated and passionate team. This varied role includes gas distribution fault-finding activities and maintenance works while providing a high level of customer service.What you will doFaults and emergency response works relating to the gas distribution network.Undertake gas meter changes, leak surveillance/repair works, along with pipeline management.Collaborate with and oversee contractors associated with the expansion of the gas distribution network.Operate machinery, plant, equipment, and tools in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.Carry out quality control and inspection activities relating to new construction.  Work as part of a team or independently.Liaise with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that any disruption to supply or any work impacting customers is fully communicated and, where possible, minimised.Participate in the 24/7 on-call faults roster.Undertake inspections of gas distribution assets, recording and reporting on performance, integrity, and any functionality issues in accordance with company procedures.Work in line with ATCO Gas Australia’s Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and procedures.What you will bringHold a Class G gas fitting licence.Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, our contractors, and the community. Certificate III in gas industry operations (desirable or training can be provided)Western Australia construction white card / blue card.Current C class driving licence (Medium Rigid (MR) licence desirable)Certificate in excavator operation (desirable)Basic worksite traffic management certificate (desirable)Why ATCO Australia?Always there. What you will do

  • Faults and emergency response works relating to the gas distribution network.
  • Undertake gas meter changes, leak surveillance/repair works, along with pipeline management.

What you will bring

  • Hold a Class G gas fitting licence.

  • Certificate III in gas industry operations (desirable or training can be provided)
  • Western Australia construction white card / blue card.
  • Current C class driving licence (Medium Rigid (MR) licence desirable)
  • Certificate in excavator operation (desirable)
  • Basic worksite traffic management certificate (desirable)
