Operational Technology Lead/ Control Systems Specialist

We are currently seeking experienced electrically biased Operational Technology/Control Systems Lead/Specialist for a position within our Perth CBD office with regular site travel, reporting to the GM Electricity Division.Using your expert control system knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, you will be the subject matter expert providing technical advice and support to ATCO’s fleet of power generating stations with a key focus on operation intelligence and maintenance optimisation.What you will contribute to:Provide technical support to power stations to ensure maximum life cycle performance, reliability and drive towards, or sustain, operational excellence.Develop capital plans to support plant operations & maintenance initiatives.Investigate, research, trouble shoot and recommend solutions for operational and maintenance problems, manage repairs as necessaryProvide Satellite Technical Support model to effectively manage the interface between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Corporate InitiativesManage OT/IT related contracts to ensure effective and sustainable performance of infrastructureSupport Asset Information systems including asset framework and data managementAbout you:Strong experience in leading and supporting technical operations on control systems preferably within a utilities or power plant environmentExperience in project management and technical leadershipIn-depth technical knowledge of PLC and SCADA operating systemsA thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirementsStrong preference for A Grade Electrical LicenceHold a tertiary qualification in related engineering discipline or alternatively equivalent industry and operations experienceHave a keen interest in future technologies including Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence and knowledge managementThen submit your application by clicking apply now.ATCO fosters an inclusive workplace culture where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
