In this role, you will have the chance to shape the future of community investment, create sustainable partnerships and lead initiatives that truly make a difference. You’ll work alongside dynamic teams, enhance outcomes and empower communities across Australia.
12 month contract PL coverage – commencing March 2025
What you will do:
- Take a lead role in the planning, implementation and reporting of the community investment framework and related programs
- Establish and manage community partnerships that underpin ATCO Australia’s long-term growth strategy and social licence to operate
- Take a lead role in ATCO’s engagement with Indigenous communities and stakeholders. Provide strategic oversight in implementing our Reconciliation Action Plan and ensure respectful, proactive, and mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal communities.
- Oversee and deliver community engagement programs across the business, including the ATCO Adventures with Natural Gas Schools Program and ATCO EPIC (Employees Participating in Communities), ensuring employees are actively engaged in initiatives that benefit both the environment and the communities in which we operate.
- Identify and seize new opportunities for partnerships that deliver value and exceed expectational value to all involved.
EXPOSURE & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualified with a degree in communications, commerce, community development etc.
- Background
- 8+ years’ experience in a role managing, community investment, partnerships, engagement or similar.
- Strong understanding of corporate, sustainability, community and Indigenous engagement frameworks and approaches.
- Experience and knowledge of leading the organisation’s approach to Indigenous engagement, including the development and implementation of Reconciliation Action Plans.
