We are seeking a Finance Business Partner for a critical role that blends financial planning and analysis (FP&A) expertise with strong business collaboration. This position involves budget management, forecasting and insightful reporting against monthly actuals. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strategic thinker, adaptable, proactive and skilled at navigating complex issues and work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business unit objectives. Perform detailed forecasting and variance analysis to provide actionable insights into financial performance.
- Act as a financial advisor to management, collaborating and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights and analysis.
- Execute monthly accounting processes, including accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting. Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data and implement effective controls.
- Provide detailed management accounting support to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Partner closely with Cost Centre owners to help forecast and report on their budgets, providing insights and guidance to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Prepare daily and monthly cash flow forecasts, highlighting key drivers and risks. Provide analysis on variances and recommend optimization actions.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders and develop compelling presentations to communicate findings.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; and CPA, or CA.
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in FP&A, management accounting, or a related field within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and project cost tracking.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and PowerBI; experience with ERP systems like Oracle, EPM, Cheops and SAP.
- Experience in project reporting for development initiatives, including KPIs and budget-to-actuals analysis.
