Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, contributing to the operational excellence of our power generation fleet.You will troubleshoot automation, control, and OT cybersecurity issues to ensure reliable and optimal performance. You will provide technical support to power stations, helping to improve lifecycle performance and maintain operational excellence. Collaborating with ATCO Technology teams and IT providers, you'll work to keep our site IT/OT infrastructure secure and reliable.Additionally, you'll assist with cybersecurity audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, while supporting the implementation and harmonization of process automation and control systems across the fleet. About the role:Responsibilities of this role also include:Provide OT and control system technical support to power stations, enhancing lifecycle performance and sustaining operational excellence.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including procedures, manuals, and reports.Participate in major maintenance projects and the integration of generation assets into ATCO’s global objectives.Engage in continuous learning to enhance your technical skills and knowledge, staying ahead of industry trends.Review monthly production reports to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.Collaborate with joint venture partnerships and key customers to maintain strong client relations.Help develop and update technical documentation and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Assist in plant improvement and modernization projects, supporting operational goals and efficiency.Ensure compliance with System Reliability Standards and corporate policies.Provide input to business planning, identifying OT improvement projects and aligning them with ATCO’s business objectives. About you Education, Skills & Experience Required:Essential:Tertiary qualification in engineering (Electrical & Instrumentation or equivalent).Solid understanding of technology platforms used in both business processes and control systems.Knowledge of IT hardware and software.Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong technical expertise in electrical and instrumentation.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in a dynamic environment.Desirable:Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and smart device programming.Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages (C++, VBA, Python, etc.).Willingness to undertake occasional site visits.
